Faye Tomson

Faye Tomson is Founder and Director of Tomson Consulting. She holds a First-Class BEng (Hons) in Energy and Environmental Engineering, is a Chartered Energy Manager, and Member of the Energy Institute as well as being an ESOS Lead Assessor, and CIBSE Heat Networks Consultant. Faye comes from a farming background and has over 15 years’ experience of delivering energy management, low carbon, renewable and district energy projects, water efficiency, waste and effluent management.

In recent years she’s been pioneering co-location of horticulture with waste heat and CO2 for food production and is able to advise on innovative horticultural engineering technologies. Faye has worked with a wide cross-section of commercial, industrial, public and third sector clients in her career, and has a flair for stakeholder engagement, relationship building and developing novel and disruptive business strategies, including innovative funding mechanisms designed to channel investor money into low-carbon projects.
